2. Overview
We process personal data only where necessary to provide this website, to handle your requests, or to meet legal obligations. Legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual steps), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interests).
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies or third-party analytics services.
3. Hosting
The website runs on the Base44 platform of Wix.com Ltd. (Tel Aviv, Israel), which provides servers, database, email delivery and image delivery (media.base44.com). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place.
Israel is covered by an EU adequacy decision. Where sub-processors in third countries (e.g. the USA) are used, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 45, 46 GDPR).
4. Server logs and page views
When you visit the website, the host processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system. In addition, visits to sections of the site are counted without cookies. This serves secure, stable operation and improvement of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted after 30 days at the latest unless needed to investigate security incidents.
5. Local browser storage
We store your language choice and your inquiry list (cart) in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device until you submit a request. The storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested (Sec. 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
6. Quote request and contact form
When you send a quote or contact request, we process the details you provide: name, email address, company, phone number, country, message and the requested parts. Required fields are marked.
The purpose is to handle your request and prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We are notified of new requests by email.
Requests that do not lead to a business transaction are deleted no later than 24 months after they were handled. Quotes and business correspondence are retained in line with commercial and tax retention periods (Sec. 257 HGB, Sec. 147 AO; 6 or 10 years) (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
7. Email contact
If you email us (e.g. hello@enyxo.com), we process your details to respond (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The retention periods in section 6 apply.
8. Catalog Guide (AI assistant)
The Catalog Guide answers questions about our range using an AI language model provided through the host’s platform. Your inputs are transmitted to and processed by the host and its AI service providers for this purpose. Please do not enter personal or confidential data. Use is voluntary (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest: helping you find parts).
9. User account and sign-in
No account is needed to send a request. If you sign in, we process the necessary data (email address, name, sign-in time). If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, these providers share your name and email address with us; their privacy policies also apply (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
10. Fonts
All fonts on this website are loaded locally from our server. No connection is made to Google or other font providers.
11. Recipients
Your data is only shared with the host (section 3) as processor and — where necessary to fulfil your order — with suppliers, carriers and customs service providers. It is never shared for advertising purposes.
12. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Contact info@bimpex.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (datenschutz.bremen.de).
13. Changes
We update this policy when the website or legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
